There are so many shades of green here in Ireland! We drove about 400 km today, but very little of it was on a freeway, so Ted drove about 9 hours through country roads. We saw every color of green imaginable on the hillside, in the meadows, on the trees, in the sheep paddocks, and in the five foot tall hedges tight up against the side of every road.

We drove through three Irish counties- Kerry, Limerick, and Clare – which included cities and towns such as Kenmare (where we slept last night), Killarney, Dingle, Shannon, Limerick, and Doolin (where we are tonight). Here is a pic of the bridge near our B&B.
Music has been central to our dinners and evenings here. We seek out pubs with good quality food and the best music. it been a real highlight of our time! In Kenmare we watched a group of 12-year-olds in training, dance their hearts out to accordion and guitar. Then across the street, during dinner, we watched the fastest squeeze box player we’ve ever heard-of, or seen. Tonight we ate in McGann’s and enjoyed three experts play traditional Irish music using: Uilleann pipes, a Bouzouki, and a Bodhran. Here are two of the players, with a young lad joining in who is taking lessons from them.
We will create another page in the next several days just for pictures of southern and western Ireland. Meanwhile, we praise God for the beauty of creation and friendly people of Ireland.

Feels like we are right along with you on this fantastic trip. I just can’t wait for a new adventure. Thank you for sharing all the beauty by both word and pictures! Love and safety to you both. Hugs!
