We began the day renting a double kayak on Lake McDonald and enjoying a paddle on a windless day. The lake was smooth and clear… It’s deeply spiritual to quietly drift, listen to the birds on the shore, and look up at majestic mountains with their long reflections in the lake. Solitude. Peaceful. Restorative.
We then decided to visit Whitefish, and thanks to Sue’s “Yelp” skills, we ate at The Shack. Great BBQ! The nicest people own and run this place! A large sign on the wall: “Jesus’ spirit resides here, may his spirit be in your heart always!” A good day.
