Belgium-Netherlands-Germany-Austria
Sue had a vision of biking in the Netherlands through fields of tulips and amidst windmills which inspired our upcoming 2019 European getaway that includes a ‘bike-and-barge’ trip – we eat and sleep on a barge as it takes us through rivers and canals to see the tulips and provides us with bicycles to explore the area during the days.
Our trip will begin in Brussels with visits to cities in Belgium via train, traverse through the Netherlands, a road trip across the center and southern parts of Germany, with a quick stop in Austria, then conclude our trip in Munich.
