It was the vacation of a lifetime. Sue and I landed at SFO on time and was greeted by Chris, who picked us up (and thanks to John who dropped us off) – our baggage was not missing – and made it home by 11pm on July 15. Now Sue has the memory-inducing task of editing our 3,000 pictures on line and into a binder. We will always smile as we re-live the moments. Vacation… travel… recreation… is actually wonderful re-creation of one’s self in many ways. Our minds, spirits and bodies are rejuvinated by getting away from the daily grind. Sue and I hope do several things differently as a result of this trip: eat meals slower, cook together, and think about what we Americans can learn from other countries.
