Saturday was a fine day in Florence. It began at the the Uffizi Museum where we saw paintings and sculptures by Botticelli, daVinci, Caravaggio, Renbrandt and more…including one of St Sebastian whose spirit really caught our attention. We then took in the Accademia Museum to see David.
Shopping around San Lorenzo Market was a success for Sue as she found scarves and a purse. At 5 pm we took a walk up to San Miniato Abbey and loved the Gregorian chant mass.
It's our last night in Florence as we sit on the rooftop terrace and sip rose wine with bread and cheese. We know Florence will continue to linger in our hearts for years to come
