What a trip! We are back home in Sunnyvale, restored and refreshed from a great vacation. This trip was everything we had hoped for, and much more. Thanks to one and all for following our blog, and for your prayers and support.
On our last day of travel we had fun compiling the following trip statistics:
– 3,450 miles traveled
– 69 hours in the car
– 14 days of vacation
– 8 states visited
– 3 National Parks visited
– 8 Continental Divide crossings
– 6 different camping locations
– Activities: hiked, kayaked, rafted, water skied, boated, and read 3 books
– Listened to the audio book of Warren Littlefield’s ‘Top of the Rock’
– Lowest gas price: $3.35/gallon in Wyoming
– Great restaurant recommendations from Yelp: 6 for 6
– Number of meals cooked in our trailer: 0
– Number of pretty impressive thunderstorms: 8
We both return to work on Monday fortified by this vacation experience which will live on in our memories
