This 'old bridge' is near the Palazzo Vecchio, Florence's political center, and the Uffizi Courtyard which contains statues of the Renaissance Hall of Fame guys. The bridge signifies Florence as a bustling trade center and has lot's of gold & silver shops on it which we bypassed. It's the narrowest part of the river Armo and has had a bridge here since Roman times. The Roman ampitheatre which used to be near this location has long been gone, but not forgotten.
