We had another good day of driving today through Oregon, eastern Washington and into Idaho. We saw the "The Cove" where three rivers intersect in a deep canyon… lots of snow capped volcano mountains, the Columbia River and we are now camping on Lake Coeur d'Alene where it exits into the Spokane River. As I type this I hear firecrackers in the distance. We had a great hamburger in town, the patties are made fresh as you watch the cook squeeze the ground beef into a patty! I bought a hat – "Hudson's"- they've been in Sunset magazine twice! In this picture, you can see our relaxed life on vacation by our 17 year old tent trailer.

I've heard that they have a tremendous fireworks display at Coeur d'Alene. Where will you be on the 4th????
