As you saw on the last post, on Monday, May 23 Ted tested positive for Covid, and we made the decision to cut our trip short and return home after resting that day. On Tuesday we drove to Omaha, Nebraska, then to Rawlins, Wyoming on a 625 mile trip, and today, Thursday, we camped in Elko, Nevada, and arrived in time to watch our beloved Golden State Warriors win the Western Conference NBA championship.
What a trip you two wound up having! I love how you combine sight seeing, athletic activity, and socializing with old friends. I’m so sorry things ended a little sooner than you planned. However, I bet you two figure out another unique outing to cover those sites you missed. Get well Ted! xoxo
